Genoa, Italy (PortSEurope) April 23, 2018 – International Propeller Clubs of Italy plans to hold an institutional visit to Malta in the period between April 25 and 28 after its trips to Morocco, Spain and Greece. The mission will be carried out, under the partnership of the unit for research in southern Italy of lender Intesa Sanpaolo, and will involve the presence of 40 delegates from
all over Italy. “This mission is in line with the previous ones”, said Umberto Masucci, president of The International Propeller Clubs of Italy, “to compare ourselves with international best practices and to promote the Italian maritime cluster. We have a panel of top-level speakers with whom we will discuss the Mediterranean and international scenario and also present the innovations of the Italian port reform.” The aim is to consolidate and further develop the relations between the shipping, port and logistics operators of Italy and Malta, one of the strategic countries for the maritime economy. A meeting with the Maltese prime minister Joseph Muscat is scheduled as part of the mission, Masucci said. Source: Messaggero Marittimo Copyright (C) PortSEurope. All Rights Reserved. 2018.
