Tanger Med, Morocco (PortSEurope) September 4, 2019 – Yazaki Corporation, an automotive parts supplier, plans to open a new plant in Kenitra, Morocco, in January 2020.

The facility plans a workforce of around 2,500 people and will manufacture products for, among others, Renault and PSA, both French car makers, also with local facilities.

The move is another success for Morocco’s industrial policy of a free zone linked with Tanger Med port.
