
Künz to supply cranes to České Přístavy

Prague, Czech Republic (PortSEurope) October 22, 2020 – The Czech logistic company České Přístavy is investing in two new container cranes for the intermodal container terminal at its location in the inland port of Melnik. The supplier, Austria’s Künz GmbH has been commissioned to deliver two new intermodal cranes. The two rail-bound portal cranes will be equipped with the latest technology, control equipment and spreaders with
grippers for efficient handling of containers and swap bodies. The cranes can stack up to four containers on top of each other. The delivery and commissioning of the two fully electrically operated intermodal cranes will take place in 2021. České Přístavy operates ports and associated businesses. Copyright (C) PortSEurope.
