Luciano Guerrieri starts work at Livorno port

Livorno, Italy (PortSEurope) March 17, 2021 – Luciano Guerrieri has taken up his new post as president of Autorita’ di Sistema Portuale del Mar Tirreno Settentrionale (AdSP – North Tyrrhenian Sea Port Authority), the governing body of the ports of Livorno, Piombino, Capraia Isola, Portoferrario, Rio Marina and Cavo. Guerrieri said that the port was not starting from scratch with his appointment but from a
programmatic and planning situation that has already been defined. He added that he wanted to proceed with development citing the Brenner Pass as a route to new markets. Commenting on the Covid-19 coronavirus crisis, he said the port must make up for lost ground, make entrepreneurs, institutions and big players work better, and turn the crisis into a new opportunity for growth.
