Motril Port Approves Action Plan For 2020

Motril, Spain (PortSEurope) January 3, 2020 – The Board of Directors and the General Assembly of Motril port, the trading company of the Port of Motril, have approved the Action Plan for 2020 that “maintains and strengthens” the presence in activities of the logistics, merchandise and tourism sector.

In total, there will be 15 actions distributed throughout the year that will serve to position the port and its infrastructures in national and international forums directly or indirectly related to the maritime traffic of goods and passengers.

Thus, the port is again present at the fruit and vegetable fairs in Berlin and Madrid, in addition to Logismed in Casablanca, the International Logistics Exhibition of Barcelona and the 1st International Logistics Congress of Andalusia.

Regarding the tourism sector, the Port Authority, through Motril port, participates in Fitur, Sea trade Miami and Sea trade Cruise Med, which this year is celebrated in Malaga on September 16 and 17. Another commercial action for 2020 is the IX Moroccan Hispanic Logistics and Transportation Meeting. As every year, Motril will be present at the forums and conferences organized by CLIA and at the annual Medcruise summits held in Palamós and Málaga.

In addition, it has been decided to continue working with the entities of which Motril port is a part, such as the Granada Convention Bureau, Maritime and Marine Cluster of Andalusia, Granada International, BNI of the Costa Tropical and the Archdiocese of Granada.
