
Navantia manager meets Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu

Ankara, Turkey (PortSEurope) January 25, 2021 – Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu held a meeting on 19 January 2021 with Francisco Javier Hergueta, Ambassador of Spain to Turkey and Pablo Menendez, the Director General of the Eastern Mediterranean Branch of Navantia, th state-owned shipbuilding company that provides design support to TCG Anadolu, an amphibious assault ship of the Turkish Navy. Çavuşoğlu commented that during the meeting
cooperation in defence industry was discussed and that its Multipurpose Amphibious Assault Ship, the TCG Anadolu would be soon in service. Navantia is a Spanish state-owned shipbuilding company, which offers its services to both military and civil sector.
