New mobile harbour crane at Thessaloniki port

Thessaloniki, Greece (PortSEurope) May 5, 2020 – Yesterday, a new Liebherr mobile crane was delivered to the port of Thessaloniki. Valued at €3.986 million, the crane has a maximum lifting capacity of 144 tons and is expected to be fully operational by June 2020, Thessaloniki Port Authority was privatised on March 23, 2018, and is now operated by South Europe Gateway Thessaloniki (SEGT) Ltd, a consortium,
in turn, owned by Deutsche Invest Equity Partners GmbH (47%), Terminal Link SAS (33%) and Belterra Investments Ltd (20%). 51% of Terminal Link is held by CMA CGM and 49% by China Merchants Holdings International.
