
Piraeus Port Authority donates material to Kethea therapy center

PPA S.A. donation of sanitary material to the programme of the Therapy Center for Dependent Individuals “KETHEA EN DRASI” (KETHEA IN ACTION) – June 2, 2020 Piraeus Port Authority SA (PPA), in the framework of actions of Corporate and Social Responsibility, has proceeded to one more donation of sanitary material (protective masks and antiseptics) to the programme of the Therapy Center for Dependent Individuals “KETHEA
EN DRASI” (KETHEA IN ACTION). The material is intended for the needs and protection of the employees of the Therapy Center for Dependent Individuals (KETHEA) in order to continue to provide their services in compliance with all safety rules for the prevention of coronavirus spread. The delivery of the sanitary material took place today, Tuesday June 2nd, in the presence of Capt. Weng Lin, Deputy CEO of the PPA S.A. On behalf of KETHEA presented Mrs. Tonia Kastrioti, Fundraising Manager. A total of 3,000 protective masks and 30 bottles of antiseptic were offered. As the representative of KETHEA Ms. Tonia Kastrioti stated: “The donation of masks and antiseptics by the PPA S.A. to the treatment programme KETHEA EN DRASI, which is addressed to prisoners and released drug users, with structures throughout Greece and in penal institutions, is a substantial assistance but also a symbolic gesture of solidarity to the vulnerable populations served by KETHEA”.
