Limassol, Cyprus (PortSEurope) October 19, 2018 – On Wednesday October 17, some employees of P&O Maritime Cyprus stopped work, complaining about conditions, including long hours and shift work.
The strike ended when the labour ministry negotiated with the unions and decided to find an interim solution to their problems next Monday.
P&O Maritime Cyprus, part of Dubai-based DP World, operates the multi-purpose terminal in Limassol comprising three multi-purpose quays, include break-bulk, general cargo, Ro-Ro, oil & gas services and the brand new passenger terminal.
