Bar, Montenegro (PortSEurope) May 17, 2017 – Montenegrin port operator Port of Adria JSC, in which Turkey’s Global Ports Holdings (GPH) controls a majority stake, booked a net loss of €347,456 ($387,309) in the first quarter of 2017, versus a loss of €1.035 million ($1.15 million) in the first three months of 2016.
Port of Adria’s revenue totalled €1.291 million ($1.44 million) and operating costs amounted to €1.8 million ($2.01 million), versus €1.562 million ($1.74 million) and €2.59 million ($2.89 million), respectively.
The operating loss of Port of Adria went down to €509,155 ($567,300) in the first quarter of 2017 from €1.028 million ($1.15 million) in the period between January and March 2016.
Port of Adria is the operator of the container terminal of Bar port.
