
Port of Genoa representative joins Medcruise board of diretcors

Genoa, Italy (PortSEurope) November 8, 2021 – Cristina De Gregori has been confirmed on the Medcruise board of directors representing Autorita’ di Sistema Portuale del Mar Ligure Occidentale (AdSP – Western Ligurian Sea Port Authority). This took place at the 59th general meeting of MedCruise, the association of cruise ports of the Mediterranean and neighboring areas, which was held on 4 November 2021 in Barcelona.
After the vote involving 68 members, the Turkish Figen Ayan, representing Galata Port of Istanbul, was elected president, and three representatives of the Italian ports were appointed within the board, the maximum allowed by the constitution for candidates of the same nationality. The Ports of Genoa have had the confirmation of Cristina de Gregori, in her second term, ranked second in the “large port” category and first among the Italian ports. MedCruise is the Association of Mediterranean Cruise Ports and its mission is to promote the cruise industry in the Mediterranean and its adjoining seas. Copyright (C) PortSEurope.
