Port of Ravenna to issue tender for new cruise terminal

Ravenna, Italy (PortSEurope) April 18, 2021 – The Port of Ravenna plans to construct a €26 million ($31.1 million) cruise ship terminal. This will be in addition to a further €30 million planned for investments in dredging, dock development and electrification. Regarding the cruise ship terminal, a similar project was proposed last August by Royal Caribbean. The company is interested in building the terminal if
awarded a long-term concession, as it has in La Spezia and Civitavecchia. The port is managed by Autorita’ di Sistema Portuale del Mare Adriatico Centro-Settentrionale (AdSP – Centre-North Adriatic Port Authority). Copyright (C) PortSEurope. All Rights Reserved. 2021.
