Portugal extends cruise ban until June 15

Lisbon, Portugal (PortSEurope) May 18, 2020 – The Portuguese government has extended the ban in on disembarkation and licenses for passengers and crews of cruise ships in national ports June 15. The government considers the move necessary to contain the spread of the Covid-19 coronavirus and takes into account that the international experience demonstrates the high risk resulting from the disembarkation of passengers and crews
of cruise ships. Cruise ships also continue to be authorized to dock at national ports for supply, maintenance and waiting (‘in lay-up’) for ship repair. Copyright (C) PortSEurope. All Rights Reserved. 2020.
