
President of the Port Authority of Valencia meets with Secretary General of ANESCO

Aurelio Martínez (APV) and José Luis Romero (ANESCO) have addressed the current situation of the stowage sector and future challenges – July 8, 2020 The president of Autoridad Portuaria de Valencia (APV – Valenciaport, Port Authority of Valencia), Aurelio Martínez, held a meeting with the general secretary of the National Association of Stevedoring Companies and Port Employment Centers (ANESCO), José Luis Romero, in which they
have addressed the situation of the stowage sector and future challenges. This meeting is part of the round of contacts that the ANESCO general secretary has been conducting since his appointment last June. The general director of the APV, Francesc Sánchez, and the head of Operations of the APV, Rubén Martín, were also present at the meeting. On behalf of ANESCO, the stowage executive committee members have accompanied the general secretary: Elías García (COO of CSP Spain), Sven Valentin (director of MSC Terminal Valencia), José Luis Alabau (Senior Advisor of APMT Spain Gateway), and Sophia Linares Van Der Lem (Public and International Affairs of ANESCO). The meeting was also attended by the managing director of the APMT Spain Gateway, Carlos Arias, the Head of Terminals Europe of APMT, Igor van den Essen, the General Manager of the CSP Valencia terminal, Gustavo Ferrer and the managing director of the Center Port of Employment of Valencia, Daniel Llera.
