Punta Langosteira’s traffic to rise to 2 million tonnes in 2018

A Coruña, Spain (PortSEurope) November 23, 2018 – Autoridad Portuaria de A Coruña (APC – A Coruña Port Authority) expects the Punta Langosteira outer harbour to handle two million tonnes of cargo traffic in 2018, the president, Enrique Losada, said.
A total of 31% of the traffic to be registered in Punta Langosteira this year will represent new traffic, a sign that the infrastructure continues to develop, Losada noted.
The port authority expects the oil traffic of Repsol to be transferred to Punta Langosteira in the short term and a new liquid bulk operator, Oil Deposit Corunna, to start activities at the outer harbour, he added.
