
Rhenus acquires the Spanish logistics specialist LTK

Madrid, Spain (PortSEurope) February 12, 2020 – Rhenus Group, a global logistics specialist, has acquired LTK, a Madrid-based integrated supply chain specialist, with warehouse capacity in Álava, Seville and Cádiz. Its primary activities involve providing logistics solutions for the aerospace and automotive sectors. LTK has more than 26,000 m² of warehouse capacity and customers include Airbus and Alestis Aerospace. Its branches in Cádiz and Seville
have been supplying the production sites of Airbus since 2004. The logistics warehouses there handle more than 1 million incoming and outgoing movements of goods per annum. LTK also handles supply chain management, procurement, returns and replacement part logistics, conducting quality checks as well as industrial handling and aircraft ground handling. The Rhenus Group is one of the leading logistics specialists with global operations and generates annual turnover of EUR 5.1 billion. Rhenus employs 31,000 people at 660 business sites. The Rhenus Group provides solutions for a wide variety of different sectors along the complete supply chain; they include multimodal transport operations, warehousing, customs clearance as well as innovative value-added services.
