Romanian ports see increased traffic in first nine months of 2019

Constanta, Romania (PortSEurope) October 21, 2019 – In the first nine months of 2019, Romanian seaports registered 49,689,282 tonnes of cargo, up by 8.42%, compared to 45,830,329 tonnes in the similar period of 2018. Maritime traffic reached 38,113,925 tonnes, an increase of 4.73%, and river transport was 11,575,357 tonnes, up 22.63%. Container traffic totalled 5,016,896 tons, respectively…
