Cagliari, Italy (PortSEurope) January 9, 2019 – The value of port fees in the harbours of Cagliari, Oristano, Porto Torres, Olbia and Golfo Aranci has been published on the site of Autorita’ di Sistema Portuale del Mare Di Sardegna (AdSP – Sardinian Sea Port Authority).

The ordinance bears the signature of president Massimo Deiana and general secretary Natale Ditel, and defines the “port rights” as the “values in euro to be paid to the port authority for the disembarkation, boarding and transit of passengers, vehicles, heavy vehicles, etc., transported by ro-ro ships and commercial ships in general; in mooring at all the quays of competence with the exception of those subject to concessionary titles”.

The sums contribute to the coverage of the costs of some general services charged to the AdSP such as lighting, extraordinary and ordinary maintenance of the common areas and maritime infrastructures, the road service, signs and routing, the cleaning of the common parts and water as well as security services.

The port will use the traffic data collected, processed and received by the maritime authorities responsible for the territory, while as regards the collection, when the invoice is issued, the maritime carriers will have to pay within 30 days from date of receipt according to the methods indicated. Once the deadline has expired, the default interest defined by the provisions of the body will be applied.
