Cádiz, Spain (PortSEurope) July 9, 2018 – Spanish company Cereales Astigi plans to invest €801,395 ($943,401) in expanding its facilities at the La Cabezuela dock of Cádiz port.
The board of directors of Autoridad Portuaria de la Bahía de Cádiz (APBC – Port Authority of Cadiz) has recently approved the extension of the administrative concession to the company, granted in April 2017, so that it can build a second phase of warehouses and expand the surface occupied.
Under the project, Cereales Astigi will build six new warehouses, in addition to the seven already existing, for the storage of cereals, as well as sand, fertilisers, raw materials for animal feed and oilseeds.
The term of execution is of one year and works will start in three months.
This second phase contemplates a covered area of 6,030 m², distributed among five identical warehouses, and a sixth of 204 m², destined to tools necessary for the activity.
