Titan LNG’s Bio-LNG project to receives CEF Funding

Amsterdam, Netherlands (PortSEurope) November 10, 2020 – The European Union’s Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) has granted €11 million to Amsterdam-based Titan LNG to develop its Bio2Bunker project. Titan LNG is a leading, independent, physical liquified natural gas (LNG) supplier. The Bio2Bunker project develops and expands a (Bio)-LNG (BLNG) bunkering supply chain by introducing three bunker barges in Zeebrugge in Belgium, Rotterdam in the Netherlands, and
Lübeck in Germany. The bunker barges in Belgium and Germany will be similar to Titan’s two existing FlexFuelers with demonstrated operational advantages. Titan LNG has designed and developed the first LNG bunkering barge, a FlexFueler, in Northwest Europe for the ARA (Amsterdam – Rotterdam – Antwerp) region. The LNG bunker barge navigates to LNG-powered seagoing vessels to safely supply LNG while they load or unload their cargo (SIMOPS). Copyright (C) PortSEurope. All Rights Reserved. 2020.
