Ibiza, Spain (PortSEurope) June 11, 2018 – Spanish ferry company Trasmediterránea started on Friday a high-speed line linking mainland Gandía port to Ibiza (Sant Antoni) and this year plans to introduce the connection from Gandía and Ibiza with Palma on a daily basis.
The ship made the first departure from Palma to Ibiza and Gandía on June 11 and made the Gandía-Ibiza trip that afternoon. The connections are made on board the high-speed vessel “Almudaina Dos” which has a capacity for 714 passengers and 175 vehicles.
The Gandía-Ibiza route, which extends the offer from Gandía with an extension to Palma, will be operational until September 9, and will connect Valencia to Ibiza in just two hours.
