Odessa, Ukraine (PortSEurope) October 8, 2019 – Minister of Infrastructure Vladislav Krykliy has signed orders to terminate the employment of Dmytro Chaly as Chairman of the Board of PJSC “Ukrainian Danube Shipping” and Igor Tkachuk as Chief of Odessa branch of Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority (USPA).

Vladislav Krykliy stated that the upgrade of the management in the Ukrainian ports started by him will continue until there can be a complete restart.

On September 30, 2019, by order of the Ministry of Infrastructure, V.O. Voitka, director of the SE Odessa Commercial Port; S.A. Sechkina, director of the SE Chernomorsk Commercial Trade Port; and Acting Director of SE Belgorod-Dnestrovsky Sea Commercial Port, K.V. Voloshchuk, were all dismissed.

“The state is not an effective owner, so we rely heavily on concession projects, but that does not mean that we will not respond to port management actions that cause damage to state-owned enterprises”, Krykliy said.
