Ukraine’s Chernomorsk port reviews activities

Chernomorsk, Ukraine (PortSEurope) August 28, 2020 – The port’s advisory body, which includes management and labour leaders, was joined by Volodymyr Shemayev, Head of the Strategic Planning and Development Department of the Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority (USPA). The meeting reviewed first-half cargo traffic figured and plans for a public-private partnership project (PPP). The Ministry of Infrastructure has been implementing a plan to introduce private investment into its
ports via public-private partnerships. Overseas companies will be awarded concessions in return for port infrastructure investment. Chernomorsk is the next port on the list.
