Vado Ligure, Italy (PortSEurope) November 22, 2018 – Vado Ligure port has handled a crane with a weight of about 450 tonnes at its reefer terminal, which arrived at the harbour from Bulgaria.
The crane, with a length of 18 metres, is owned by Italian company Vernazza Autogru Srl and its main body weighs about 96 tonnes.
This is not the first collaboration between Vernazza Autogru and the Vado Ligure reefer terminal, operated by APM Terminals. A large self-propelled crane on tracks, able to lift up to 1,200 tonnes was disembarked last winter in Vado Ligure, dismounted in almost 100 pieces.
