Valencia, Spain (PortSEurope) February 12, 2019 – Valenciaport has participated in Fruit Logistics in Berlin, the most important fair in the fruit and vegetable sector.
The port has taken the opportunity to meet clients and to promote its refrigerated product terminal, Friopuerto, with the aim of positioning it as a warehouse for refrigerated products.
Friopuerto aims to provide port-oriented cold storage services for importers and exporters internationally. It currently operates cold store facilities in Mexico, Morocco, Portugal, Spain and Uruguay, all of them inside port zones. Customers benefit from a state-of-the-art technology and processes to run frozen and chilled chambers, where it offers all kinds of transloading, cross-docking and value-added services.
The Valenciaport delegation was led by Autoridad Portuaria de Valencia (APV – Valenciaport, Port Authority of Valencia) executives Mar Chao, commercial and business development director, the general director, Francesc Sánchez; and the shipping director, Manuel Rodríguez.
For the second year, the Valenciaport stand has accommodated the product of the company LaserFood, a Valencian company dedicated to the identification of food units through laser marking.
