Kyrgyzstan
Landlocked Kyrgyzstan is a republic in central Asia which gained independence in 1991. The country is bordered by Kazakhstan to the north, Uzbekistan to the west, Tajikistan to the south, and China to the east. Its capital and largest city is Bishkek.
