Chioggia
The Port of Chioggia is located between the islands of Pellestrina and Sottomarina: it is the southernmost access point to the Venice Lagoon, in the Northern Adriatic Sea. It is part of Autorita’ di Sistema Portuale del Mare Adriatico Settentrionale (AdSPMAS – Northern Adriatic Sea Port Authority).
The only access point to the port is the Chioggia Inlet, that is 550 m wide with a navigable depth of 8m below the sea level.
