Marin

Marin seaport is located in Northwest Spain. The Port of Marín has outstanding connections, meaning goods can be transported quickly and safely to any part of the Iberian Peninsula or Europe via the AP-9 motorway and A-52 dual carriageway. It is one of Spain’s leading ports in terms of intermodal boat-rail transport and is directly connected to the national rail network. Its internal rail network spans more than 7000 metres and has 7 main lines with sidings for different goods. It also boasts the Iberian Peninsula’s first all weather terminal. The port is managed by Autoridad Portuaria de Marín y Ría de Pontevedra (APMRP – Port Authority of Marin). State ports are managed by Puertos del Estado which executes port policy of the government; made up of 28 port authorities that manage the 46 ports.
