Vigo
Vigo is a port in Galicia, Northwest Spain, and is Spain’s leading fishing port. Vigo is one of the largest and most important fishing ports in all of Europe and is known for its freezing and canning industry. It is managed by Autoridad Portuaria de Vigo (APV – Port Authority of Vigo). State ports are managed by Puertos del Estado which executes port policy of the government; made up of 28 port authorities that manage the 46 ports.
