A Coruña, Spain (PortSEurope) August 1, 2017 – The port of A Coruña handled more than 6.8 million tonnes of cargo during the first half of the year, the port authority (Autoridad Portuaria A Coruña) de reported today.
The balance of traffic shows a growth of 1.52% and place the port of A Coruña as the leader in Galicia. The biggest increase was in fresh fish, up by more than 12.5%, followed by liquid bulk, which increased 6.4%.
In the first six months of the year, more than 75,000 cruise passengers passed through the port of A Coruña, which could lead to a historic record at the end of this year, according to the port authority.
