Savona, Italy (PortSEurope) December 4, 2017 – By the end of the year, Porti di Savona e Vado Ligure (Autorità di sistema portuale del Mar Ligure occidentale) is to renew, within the Vado Ligure port, the Italian concessions of Esso Italiana (renewal for 10 years of the landing stage for the disembarkation of mineral oils) and the Dutch company Alkion Terminals, which recently took over the activities of Petrolig in Vado, including the concession on the landing stage for the disembarkation of oil products.
The renewal will be valid for 10 years. Alkion Terminals has started the process to obtain a new vapour recovery plant, necessary to continue the activity, waiting for the embarkation/disembarkation point to be transferred to the multifunctional platform under construction.
