AdSP Ancona Issues Tender For Port System Regulatory Plan

Ancona, Italy (PortSEurope) November 22, 2018 – Autorita’ di Sistema Portuale del Mare Adriatico (AdSP – Central Adriatic Sea Port Authority) has issue a tender for the drafting of the Port System Regulatory Plan which includes the drafting of the System Strategic Planning Document (DPSS) and the drafting with the updating of the port regulatory plans of each of the ports of the AdSP.

The ports concerned are Ancona-Falconara Marittima, Pesaro, San Benedetto del Tronto in the Marche, Pescara and Ortona in Abruzzo.

The plan will include guidelines for the future of ports in an integrated system perspective, capable of responding to growth opportunities in a harmonious way, coordinated also with the territory and to ensure sustainable, economic, social, environmental development of the area port.

The tender concerns the strategic planning and updating of individual Port Regulatory Plans, the environmental report of Vas-Strategic Environmental Assessment, the technical-scientific coordination of the Port System Regulatory Plan (Prsp), with the necessary technical support to reach final approval.

The value based on the call for tenders is €2.26 million ($2.58 million) and offers must be submitted by January 8, 2019. The duration of the contract is 390 effective days from the signature. The contractual commitment will last, in any case, until the two competent Regions, Marche and Abruzzo, have approved the Port System Regulatory Plan.
