Barcelona, Spain (PortSEurope) May 16, 2017 – Barcelona port will carry out a business mission to Buenos Aires and Montevideo from November 11 to 17, led by the Minister of Territory and Sustainability of the regional government, Josep Rull, and the president of the port authority of Barcelona, Sixte Cambra.
The business delegation will also be made up of import and export companies and companies in the port logistics sector, with the aim of strengthening links, promoting internationalisation and promoting the logistics community of Barcelona.
Galán explained that Argentina, a country where Barcelona port already carried out a business mission in 1998, has been one of the destinations chosen for its expanding market, public support for investment, diversified economy and business profitability.
Uruguay, in turn, enjoys a political, legal and social stability, and is the gateway to the Mercosur market, characterised by its leadership in the field of technology, modern logistics and energy efficiency policies.
