Moldova’s Giurgiulesti International Free Port (with the status of a free economic zone until 2030) is located on the maritime section of Danube and is capable of receiving both inland and sea going vessels. It has oil products terminal, grain terminal, vegetable oil terminal, bulk cargo terminal, container & general cargo terminal, Ro-Ro terminal and a passenger terminal. The port offers the services of a mixed-gauge rail terminal.
