Croatian prime minister visits Zadar port

Zadar, Croatia (PortSEurope) February 24, 2021 – Prime Minister Andrej Plenković has visited the Gaženica fishing port in Zadar, where he presented local officials with contracts for the financing of local infrastructure projects with HRK 44 million (€5.8 million) from EU. The finance will be used for the development of island communities, inlcuding the fishing port Vela Lamjana in Kali on the island of Ugljan.
EU funds will also be used to expand the ferry port at Tkon on the island of Pašman. The prime minister said that there are 49 projects for island development, worth HRK 5.6 billion.
