Fifth convoy with Ukrainian grain has left Odessa ports

Odessa, Ukraine (PortSEurope) August 12, 2022 – Today, the fifth convoy with grain products left the Odessa ports of Chornomorsk and Pivdenny. It consists of the ship Sormovskiy 12, which left Chornomorsk, and the bulk carrier Star laura from Pivdenny.

They are carrying more than 63,000 tons of agricultural products on board. The Star Lara became the first Panamax-class ship to leave Pivdenny since the beginning of the “grain initiative” implementation, and the third in the general list of giant ships that are already heading through the “grain corridor”.

Already today, “Chornomorsk” and “Pivdenny” will accept 2 more vessels for loading – Brave Commandwer and Pretel S. More than 40,000 tons of Ukrainian grain will be loaded on them.
