
Kosovo to have own customs facilities in Albania’s Durrës port

Durrës, Albania (PortSEurope) November 28, 2021 – Following a meeting between the Kosovo and Albanian governments, an agreement was announced for Kosovo customs facilities to be set up in the Albanian ports of Durrës and Romano. The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, said that the new facilities would simplify customs procedures and ease waiting times at the current border. He was quoted as sayin:”
This agreement envisages the establishment of the customs office of the Republic of Kosovo in the customs area of the Port of Durrës and Porto Romano, and the deepening of cooperation between the two countries in customs procedures and control of entry and exit of goods”.
