No solution in sight for APM Terminals – PortCastelló dispute

Castellón, Spain (PortSEurope) July 30, 2021 – The conflict between the association of transporters Astraport and APM Terminal’s facility in PortCastelló shows no sign of ending. Transport workers are demanding solutions to the long delays they have suffered in cargo operations for a long time, whilst APM Terminals says its has offered all it can and is not responsible for the problems. APM Terminals has urged the carriers
to return to work and meet again in three months to evaluate the measures. Astraport’s Francisco Olvera said that another terminal, operated by Noatum, in PortCastelló, does not experience the same problems.
