Port of Trapani set to open new cruise terminal

Palermo, Sicily, Italy (PortSEurope) December 6, 2021 – This Friday, the Port of Trapani plans to inaugurate its new Passenger Cruise Terminal of the port of Trapani will be inaugurated. The terminal will be operated by MSC Cruise and Costa Cruises, two companies which manage the cruise operations of the ports under the administratuon of Autorita’ di Sistema Portuale del Mare di Sicilia Occidentale (AdSP
– Western Sicilian Sea Port Authority). West Sicily Gate srl is the company established by the two cruise liners to operate the cruise facilities at Palermo, Termini Imerese, Trapani and Porto Empedocle. At an inauguration ceremony, there will be a contributions from Pasqualino Monti, AdSP President, and a roundtable including Beniamino Maltese, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Costa Crociere SpA, and Luigi Merlo, Head of Institutional Relations of the MSC Group.
