Portos de Galicia presents promotional strategy at Fitur 2019

A Coruña, Spain (PortSEurope) January 28, 2019 – The president of Portos de Galicia, José Juan Durán Hermida, has presented the organisation’s promotional strategy at Fitur 2019. Fitur is a global tourism fair for professionals and trade representatives operating in Ibero-American markets. It took place in Madrid, January 23-27, 2019. Durán is keen to focus the promotional strategy on the loyalty of the international clients
of Galician sports ports after the opening of new markets in Northern Europe that the public entity has been doing in recent years. He said it was important to attract to Galicia private nautical clients, and to hold major events in the sector locally, as planned in 2020 and 2021, taking advantage of the tourist boom of Xacobeo 21. With this objective, the president presented the promotional calendar for 2019 at the Madrid fair, which will include the participation again, in conjunction with Turismo de Galicia, in the main sectorial events in the United Kingdom, Ireland, France, Germany and Portugal, as well as the presence of the port agency for the first time in Amsterdam.
