
Spain: Total port traffic Q1 2020 by port authority

Madrid, Spain (PortSEurope) May 6, 2020 – Puertos del Estado (PdE) has published port authority cargo numbers for January-March 2020, showing that total traffic was 133.28 million tons, down 4.7% on the same period of 2019. Puertos del Estado is a state-owned organisation responsible for the management of state-owned ports. The company executes the port policy of the government and coordinates and controls the efficiency
of the port system, made up of 28 port authorities that manage the 46 ports of general interest.
