
Suez Canal Authority, China’s Tianjin to develop 2nd phase of TEDA Industrial Zone

Suez, Egypt (PortSEurope) April 25, 2019 – The Suez Canal Authority (SCA) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with China’s Tianjin Municipality for the development of the second phase of TEDA Industrial Zone in the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZone). According to the deal’s terms, a 6-kilometre area will be used for the construction of developed industrial areas at SCZone. The project will open at least 25,000 jobs in nine industrials areas
