Ukraine’s Nibulon ships over 5.64 million tons of agricultural products in 2021

Yuzhny, Ukraine (PortSEurope) January 14, 2022 – Grain trader Nibulon handled more than 5.64 million tons of agricultural products in 2021. A number of records were set in the year, including 700,900 tons in August, 1.88 million tons in Q4 and 3.71 million tons in the second half of 2021. Crops account for more than 90%, followed by rapeseed, soybeans and sorghum. The key importer remains
China, where about 1.5 million tons of corn and barley were shipped. The second place was taken by Egypt which imported 630,000 tons of wheat and corn. In third place was Indonesia with a volume of 615,000 tons. Also in 2021, new export destinations were opened in Africa and Asia (Nigeria, Cameroon, Ghana, Iraq). In addition to those already mentioned, there are such unusual for Ukraine destinations as Mexico, Kenya, Oman, Tanzania, Uganda and Burundi. This is considered a good result in consideration of competition from the United States, Argentina and Australia. Nibulon is a Ukrainian agricultural company specializing in production and export of grains wheat, barley and corn. It is headquartered in Mykolaiv, and has its own fleet and shipyard.
