Trieste, Italy (PortSEurope) July 26, 2022 – The Finnish company Wärtsilä will stop manufacturing 4-stroke engines in Trieste. It will centralize manufacturing in Europe in Vaasa, Finland. The decision will affect around 450 employees. Discussions between Wärtsilä, employee representatives and Italian authorities and will start in line with Italian law.
