Buran Energy acquires Tancar hydrocarbon terminal in Cartagena port

Cartagena, Spain (PortSEurope) June 17, 2019 – Duro Felguera, via subsidiary Felguera IHI is to sell Tanques de Cartagena (Tancar) to Buran Energy, a company which operates in the in the commercialisation, storage and distribution of hydrocarbons. The Duro Felguera hydrocarbon terminal in Cartagena has a storage capacity of measured distillates of 110,000 m³. Tancar has five tanks of 22,000 m³ of capacity and can carry out unloading
operations for vessels up to 230 metres long and 13 metres draft. The terminal can also supply more than 2 million litres of fuel per truck per day. The sale of Tancar is part of its recently presented Strategic Plan 2019-2023 that establishes a realistic roadmap to recover the path of the company’s profitability. For Buran Energy, the acquisition incorporates strategic infrastructure in the national market that will helps it develop its verticalization plan in the sector. Copyright (C) PortSEurope.
