Ravenna

Ravenna is a port-city in Northeast Italy on the coast of the Adriatic Sea and the only port in the Emilia-Romagna Region. It is a leading port in Italy for its trade with the markets of the Eastern Mediterranean and Black Sea (almost 40% of the national total and excluding coal and oil products). The port handles bulk cargo, break-bulk cargo, containers and operates shipyards. It also has an expanding cruise terminal. It is managed by Autorita’ di Sistema Portuale del Mare Adriatico Centro-Settentrionale (AdSP – Centre-North Adriatic Port Authority).
