Clarksons Negotiates With Two Companies To Establish Fuel Station For Ships

Port Said, Egypt (PortSEurope) December 27, 2017 – Mohamed Metawi, managing director of Clarksons Shipping Agency, said that the company is negotiating with two international companies, in the field of ship fuel supply, to establish ships’ fuel supply stations in Egypt with an investment estimated at $200 million (€237.5 million).

The companies have set up an administration for petroleum and gas and it will work to offer gas and petroleum transportation services, in addition to logistical and maritime services to owners of exploration rights.

The company has over 47 branches in more than 21 countries across the world, in addition to over 1,500 employees. It has offices in Cairo, Alexandria, Damietta, Port Said, and Suez, serving the ports of Alexandria, Dekhila, Damietta, and the Economic Authority ports (West Port Said, East Port Said, Adabiya, Sokhna, and Al Tor).
