Cagliari, Italy (PortSEurope) June 10, 2019 – Cagliari International Container Terminal (CICT), a subsidiary of Contship Italia, has announced a downsizing plan for 210 employees.
The decision was made by the board of directors of the company and is only a proposal that needs to be approved by the shareholders.
A meeting will be held on June 12 at the Ministry of Transport to discuss the situation at the terminal, to be attended by prefect Bruno Corda, the president of the port authority Massimo Deiana, the regional clabour ouncilor Alessandra Zedda and the management of CICT.
