
Durrës port sees increased traffic in Jan-Sep 2019

Durrës, Albania (PortSEurope) October 13, 2019 – The Adriatic sea port of Durres handled 3.12 million tonnes of cargo in the first nine months of 2019, and increase of 15% on the same period of 2018. Of the total, about 2.44 million tonnes was carried by cargo ships, up 18%. 680,000 tonnes of goods were carried by ferries, up 5%. The port’s container terminal handled
