Bucharest, Romania (PortSEurope) January 15, 2018 – Italian logistics company Fercam SpA has opened a new office in Bucharest, which is its second in Romania, a country where the company has been operating in Oradea for several years.
Fercam has explained that the area of Oradea has for years been very active and with full employment, so in recent years also for the logistics sector, it has been increasingly difficult to find qualified personnel.
Fercam’s FTL Manager for Freight Management, Hansjörg Faller, recalled that Romania imports many products from all over Europe and the Middle East while it exports mainly wood, steel and automotive products, all of them serviced by Fercam.
“For Bucharest, we have foreseen activities of FTL (full loads) and partial loads besides the air and marine shipments,” Fercam said. All central Fercam Romania administration, accounting and management services will remain in Oradea, while the new employees of the Bucharest branch will concentrate mainly on commercial work.
